2026 HWHOA Budget

High Woodlands Neighbors, we wanted to share the final budget for 2026 sent out by snail mail in December.

You can download it below

The proposed 2026 community budget presents a stable and well-managed financial plan, with projected income closely matching projected expenses of approximately $131,700. The budget includes a very small planned operating shortfall (under $1,000), which is not material and does not indicate any structural issue. Expense levels are consistent with prior years and reflect normal operating needs such as programs, equipment, officials, administrative costs, and special events. Revenue projections are conservative and aligned with historical participation levels.

The community enters 2026 in a strong financial position, with roughly $269,000 in cash reserves held across checking, savings, and a certificate of deposit. These reserves more than cover seasonal fluctuations or unexpected expenses, eliminating any liquidity concerns and the need for special assessments. Fee comparisons show rates generally in line with neighboring leagues, with variations by age group driven by actual cost differences rather than discretionary increases. Overall, the budget supports continued operations, maintains financial stability, and reflects prudent fiscal planning.
