  • Ziply Internet Petition

Hi neighbors, as we look to improving services in our neighborhood, we are looking into getting Ziply to service our internet.

Currently, most only have Xfinity, and while many of you may be happy with their services, it is always good to have options and competition.

To that effect, if you are interested in exploring Ziply without commitment, we are starting a petition to see hoe many households are interested.

If you are interested, please email ziply-petition@highwoodlands.com with your name and address.

  • 2025 Budget out

Our 2025 budget was presented to the members during our annual members meeting last night. For those of you unable to attend, we are publishing it here as well. We will be sending it in a physical newsletter coming up in the next month or so as well.

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact the board.

  • New Trustees Elected: DJ Kong, Avery Marrill, Ken Vogt

Last night we elected two new trustees, and one re-elected. to the board for a term of three years. We want to welcome the following:

    1. DJ Kong
    2. Avery Marrill
    3. Ken Vogt (Re-elected).

In February the trustees will have an internal ballot to nominate across all positions on the board. We will be posting a short bio of the candidates in our physical newsletter coming up.

  • New Year and a New Website

We are excited to present a new website for the new year and beyond. We managed to reduce our cost of hosting our website by porting over to a new platform. In fact, we are paying less than half of what we were previously.

We are also saying farewell to PayHOA. While it was a short experiment, it did not serve all of our needs, including causing letters to not reach the right people. We always keep an open mind and our eyes peeled for technology solutions that help our community and will continue to do so over the new year.
