  • Ziply Installations

    Hi, neighbors

As you may have seen, Ziply is around the neighborhood installing infrastructure. If you are interested in joining Ziply, I will have one of their representatives on our Facebook group to answer any questions you may have.

The pricing we have is in the following flyer:

You can email Trevor above with any questions. Some of the common questions I know of so far include:

    • What happens to my cable service? While Ziply doesnt offer cable services, Trevor can help convert you over to streaming.
    • What is the difference between Ziply and Xfinity? Ziply utilizes fiber for the internet which is faster than Xfinity’s over-cable services. For us its a different option to Xfinity, so competition is good.
    • Why are we promoting Ziply? We are getting our pool house internet provided for, as well as numerous community members asking me to petition Ziply. We don’t receive any other monetary benefits aside from that, nor do we have an exclusive agreement.

    Thanks,

    Doron

  • Ziply Fiber Internet Announcement

    Ziply Fiber Internet Announcement

You may have noticed signs up in and around the community, or maybe even on your front door handle, that Ziply is doing some work in our area. We are excited to announce that indeed we will be having Ziply as an internet provider option for our community.

We still need to ratify the agreements at next Monday’s board of trustee meeting, but through negotiations with Ziply on a contract, we are happy to have a local company provide us with internet.

I know many of you may have questions, and more information will be provided over the coming weeks, but to reassure everyone, you don’t have any obligation to switch over to Ziply if you are happy with your current provider. As part of the agreement, Ziply will also provide our pool house with free internet.

  • More on Exploration of Baseball Facilities in High Woodlands

    From the President.

Hi, neighbors. Last monthly meeting I disclosed that the board is exploring the idea of partnering with the local Kirkland little league association on developing baseball facilities on the six acres of undeveloped land we are not using.

I mentioned specifically that we are just having preliminary discussions and we are nowhere near the phase of making a decision. In any case we see this as an investment in our future, our kids, alongside the pride we have for our swim team.

I emphasized that this will not be an initiative we will spend and lose money on, nor make a decision until we discuss final details at a future date.

I am disappointed certain members have gone on social media to spread misinformation on this matter instead of addressing the board, when we are trying to be open and transparent.

I urge anyone with questions to contact the board or come to our meetings.

    Thank you?,

    Doron Katz

  • Ziply Internet Petition

Hi neighbors, as we look to improving services in our neighborhood, we are looking into getting Ziply to service our internet.

Currently, most only have Xfinity, and while many of you may be happy with their services, it is always good to have options and competition.

To that effect, if you are interested in exploring Ziply without commitment, we are starting a petition to see hoe many households are interested.

If you are interested, please email ziply-petition@highwoodlands.com with your name and address.
