We are writing to inform the community of the passing of one of our community members. We as the board want to wish Terry and her family our thoughts and prayers.
On December 4, 2025, Doug Brenna suffered a cardiac arrest in his High Woodlands home. Despite the heroic efforts of Kirkland first responders, Doug did not survive. He and his wife, Terry, have lived near the park for the past 41 years, where they raised their children, Amanda and David.
You are invited to a Celebration of Life Service for Doug at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 24, at Alderwood Community Church, 3403 Alderwood Mall Blvd. in Lynnwood. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the church, to water projects of World Concern, or to Red Willow Ministries.
